On Saturday, March 28th, Sparta will be having its first CHILI STROLL. This is expected to be a fun event for businesses owners and shoppers. Some of our businesses will be making chili for everyone to sample. The businesses will display a chili pepper in their window. They will also have a theme behind their chili. Customers partaking in this will be asked to vote for the best chili and the best theme. In the end one businesses will claim bragging rights to the best chili in Sparta-and also the best theme. There will be a charge of $4.00 per person or $15.00 per family. All proceeds go to the downtown flower basket fund. At the end of the stroll you will able to drop your ticket off for a chance to win 1 of 2 baskets that will be donated as prizes by participating businesses. Mark your calendar for Sat.
