The New Berlin author of five non-fiction books sharing his two decade experience with Amish, Mennonite, and Hutterites has written Anabaptists in Minnesota: Amish, Mennonite, and Hutterites, to be published in June 2009. Richard Lee Dawley, the author whose mission is to educate non-Amish about these often-misunderstood people, also leads day tours to five Wisconsin Amish and Mennonite settlements answering questions to reduce misunderstandings sometimes reinforced by the plethora of fiction books with settings in Amish settlements.The 240 page paperback book includes 20 color photographs taken on the 2008 research, and sells for $12.95 in three dozen Book World stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
