Enjoy an outdoor concert Wednesdays during the summer months from our newly constructed band shell located in Evans Bosshard Park, Hwy 16 East right here in Sparta. Be sure to bring your lawn chair. Walking distance from the B&B.

Leon Gatorfest
Held August 23rd & 24th, Leon Gatorfest features a "stand still" parade where the parade stands still and the people walk by. Gatorfest features fun for all ages with music, a Chicken-Q, stand still parade, kids games & inflatables, live music, chicken Q, food(including gator), ice cream, laundry basket softball, live reptile exhibit, arts & crafts show. Held in Leon, WI just 5 minutes from the Sparta Tourism Information Center. It's great fun for the entire family.

Annual Ben Biken! BBQ Bash in Sparta
Held the weekend after Labor Day in September. Be sure to be a part of the Annual Ben Biken BBQ Bash and Barbeque competition held on Sept. 11th & 12th 2008. This festival is fun for the entire family, featuring several BBQ, and non profit organizations vending food, a BBQ Contest sanctioned by the KCBS (Kansas City BBQ Society), live music and DJ all weekend featuring Southern Kansas city style music. Fun for the kids with a rock climbing wall, and much more.
